You have the option of functioning as a member/owner or simply as a client. ELMCO provides its members and clients with the same unparalleled services.

Locally Owned and Operated
ELMCO has a working knowledge of the unique complexities of the Elmira health care environment and is always available for its clients and insured’s.

Preferred Provider Network
Hands down, ELMCO has the best local and surrounding area provider network. We are consistently growing our network to to include providers that aren’t currently available. Med Watch in Lake Mary, Florida and United Claims Services.

Custom Plans
We offer our clients the flexibility to choose a level of managed care that best suits them. In fact, every plan is individually designed for each client, ensuring the best package possible. Clients can use our standard packages or develop new or revised plans to meet their needs. It is also possible to have more than one plan should the need arise.

Prescription Drug Coverage
In all ELMCO plans, prescription drugs are handled by Walgreens Health Initiatives.

Medical Benefit Plan Administration
ELMCO offers many benefits, including:

• issuing checks weekly or otherwise as requested by the client
• dedicated claims analysts to answer questions
• on-site visits
• monthly reports
• stop loss management (reporting monthly & large claim monitoring)
• coordination of benefits and discounts from the network (ELMCO does NOT keep a

• Flexible Spending Accounts

Flexible spending account provide medical and dependent care payments to supplement your plans. ELMCO provides you with a dedicated claims analyst who can provide updated balance notifications and will issue weekly checks.

Dental Plans
ELMCO’s plans are flexible enough to include dental coverage. A reasonable and customary fee schedule is available, and processing charges are minimal.
